Escape To The Ancient Cities...

“I’ve always wanted to get as far as possible from the place where I was born. Far both geographically and spiritually.”- Paul Bowles, The Sheltering Sky.
After a visit to Morocco left such an indelible mark on him, he became an American expat and spent his remaining 52 years in the Moroccan city of Tangier. While not all of us can give up our way of life after a travel experience, one can still visit this unique country which borders both the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
Located in North Africa, the landscape has areas of lush, green landscape, and weather perfect for hiking and exploring the Jbel Toubkal Mountains. It is not merely sand and dust.
Along with Casablanca, the cosmopolitan city Marrakech is a popular stop. The Mandarin Oriental Marrakech offers a luxury spa and world-class dining blending the old word with the new. The Four Seasons is a more authentic stay with over 40 acres of Moorish gardens, fountains, and pools. Sip coffee (or champagne!) on a private terrace overlooking the palm tree-dotted landscape with the awesome backdrop of the Atlas Mountains.
Ease of access, arts, cuisine, and culture make Morocco a location which you must get your passport stamped for. (Americans do not need a Visa if staying for under 90 days).
